GAME OVERVIEW
WRC 5 is the first installment of the series to be heading to the PlayStation Vita. As with other racing games, the upcoming title is best played with a racing wheel set. WRC 5 is still a believable approximation of the real thing, but it’s Sega Rally rather than Richard Burns Rally that seems to be the touchstone here. It’s a different approach to Dirt Rally, the hardcore credentials it’s picked up from the sim veterans on the team tuned out for a broader audience. The fifth mainline installment of the series comes with five stages with 13 rallies each (for a total of 65 across more than 350kms of tracks). Not to mention that it also uses dynamic weather and lighting conditions along with a damage system.
